In this activity, students are given four sets of data about pro-football players. They will describe the shape of the histogram and estimate the mean and median for each data set.

In this activity, students are given four sets of data about pro-football players. They will describe the shape of the histogram and estimate the mean and median for each data set.
Then the students will change the histograms to box plots. They are to determine how the histogram affects the properties of the box plot. Students will also calculate the actual mean and median of each data set and compare them to their estimates.
